When should CDD be conducted?

CDD must be conducted in the following situations:

  • Before or at the time of establishing a business relationship with a customer
  • Before executing a transaction with a customer without a business relationship (i.e., casual or occasional customers)
  • On an ongoing basis in case of a continuing business relationship.
