What does AML stand for?

AML stands for anti-money laundering. It is a set of laws, regulations and measures aimed at detecting, preventing and mitigating money laundering, terrorism financing and proliferation financing. In UAE, the principal AML law is Federal Decree-Law No. (20) of 2018 on Anti-Money Laundering and Combating the Financing of Terrorism and Financing of Illegal Organisations.
